So yesterday I came back home and read a message I received and was so completely in shock i literally couldn't move...Apeira is confirmed to perform at Metal Asylum Open Air Festival...this is going to be huge and amazing ofcourse we will put up a great show...we will prove to the UAE metal scene that we are not joking around and are serious about this...November 5th...it will be good, it will be loud...Headbanging, Moshpits and Walls of Death are requierd so start warming up!!

Its been a while since I've posted and I'm sorry really!...We have kind of been busy practicing for our show with Rock Nation this October...its going to be a great one I can promise you that!...
We came up with this new song which needs some adjustments in the compositions and then we start recording it i'm guessing we start that after the show. Its the first track from our album and its called 'Desolation' good song I'm pretty sure you guys will love it. 


UPDATES!
We have decided to add one more track to the album to make it 9 tracks in total plus two bonus tracks (which are instrumentals of two of the songs on the album itself). This song is very oriental, has a lot of Arabian beats and riffs to it and we would love suggestions for the song name...look on the discography page for the other song names and you will pretty much have an idea of how to name it...

For most of you who don't know, we are a Progressive Death Metal band...the two of our songs you have heard already point out to Death Metal and Power Metal...however we have more tracks you haven't heard yet, Beautiful Agony would be close to Symphonic Power Metal, Desolation and Apocalyptic Fear close to Gothic and the others extremely Oriental Metal so we are very Progressive to be honest...I would actually start calling us Progressive/ Oriental Death Metal...I think you should too! =P


By the way if you haven't heard this song yet you are seriously missing out!...Check it out I would say its my favourite song of all time!

To infinity...AND BEYOND!

Apeira has been the top band on ReverbNation Metal charts for two weeks now (we made our ReverbNation page 3 weeks ago nice improvement huh? :P). Apparantly its not something official because according to Metal charts globally we are ranked 1502 and surprisingly passed Moonspell (which is 1 of my fav. bands bdw if you dont listen to them you are a little freak :D). Hmmmm other updates?..Ahh well the Metal Asia Compilation album is delayed till 28th August for more bands to be added according to Metality UAE.

Me (Al ofcourse) Arabing it up in Al Ain! =P

About the band! well we took a few days off of the studio...BaM, Sherry and myself (right here :P) were haning out with a friend of ours for a couple of days and we went to Jabal 7afeet yesterday and made our own sheesha, playing acoustic (Gradspas Guitars) it was alot of fun. Most probably today we go back to the studio and work on Apocalyptic Fear (the new track) and also practice the songs we are playing in the October gig...hmm good stuff.

McDonald's+Tom&Jerry....does life get any better? :P

And another update is that soon, maybe within a week in fact Apeira has an online interview with Heavy Metal Tribune of Singapore and as we were told before maybe a review with Metality UAE so be sure to look out for those it should be interesting. We will talk about our album Gates To Apeiron and I'm sure you will all find the story interesting!

And on a brighter note, I'm getting a new bass...AHHH yes i am it is the hottest thing on 4 strings and hopefully ill have it before the gig..the Almighty Dean Dimebag Razorback Bass! currently i use a Dean Demonator 4 which is also hot although not equally as the Razorback! hehe Yes i only stick to Dean guitars and Ray Ban shades...the best of the best baybee!!!

So i was sitting up bored all night and i decided to make a blogspot page...i know i know you dont have to tell me =P
Hmm..
To start off im Ali, im the bassist/keyboardist/backing vocalist of the band Apeira which basically started off June 2009 as i recall...it was our first gig as an official band.
